Native Persians were generally subject peoples in the Turco-Mongol empires of the east in the late Middle Ages, but they did serve a valuable function in these armies -- as the only available infantry of any use, archers, often behind stakes. These would serve in Islamic Persian, White and Black Sheep Turk, Timurid, and other armies that used Persian subject infantry.
To the best of our knowledge, no one else makes models for these warriors, and many other lines instead market Arab-type soldiers as Tadjiks. This is incorrect, as Iranians are not Arabs, and dressed quite differently. Our models have all the marks of these distinctive warriors -- especially the tall felt hat (intead of a turban), and of course a Persian shawl, as well as a long jacket, front tucked in.
In the future we intend to build a Timurid line (circa 1400) around these models, but for now, consider them "useful figures" for your armies -- time to retire or reassign those Arabs masquerading as Tadjiks! They are quite simple to paint so would be ready in a snap, even in large numbers.
The models in packs KM-300, KM-300W and KM-300H are the same, they are just progressively larger packs, at a progressively larger discount.
