15mm Modern Ukrainians and Russians
Miniatures in 15mm scale for the modern Ukrainian Ground Forces -- and starting in December of 2023, for the sake of convenience I am also listing the Russians here. The Russians are listed below the Ukrainians.
Vehicles unique to Ukraine are listed here as well, such as the UKrainian T-64BV. However, most of the vehicles in use by Ukraine in 2022 (BTR-80, BMP-1, BMP-1P, BMP-2, GAZ-66, etc) can be found in our 15mm Modern Russian range -- and starting December 2023, listed immediately below in the Russian section as well.
Note that the Ukrainian Platoon Command Set does not have the attached SVD marksman. I considered adding the marksman figurine again to this set, but considering the SVD shortages in the Ukrainian Army currently (units are bartering captured Russian tanks for sniper rifles!), it makes a lot more sense for the gamer to strip one away from a squad, and add it to the platoon command.
The T-64BV has turret front ERA for three different variants -- the old Soviet-era M1985 version, which is resin (and should not be used, but can be retrofitted to the kit to make a "Cold War Gone Hot" 1980s what-if model, then two different pewter versions, for the Ukrainian upgrades. One has the shorter port-side turret ERA, which is used in conjunction with the infrared searchlight, and the longer port-side turret ERA, which is used instead of the search light and covers that spot (this is the more modern version, but both variants are widely seen).
